Is Higher Education Bad For Your Creative Mind's Health?

They say that creativity works best when someone thinks like a child. Of course, we know the more education we get the more logical we start thinking and less intuitive and creative we are able to think. This is because we are exercising our brain on one side more than the other side. What we should be doing is exercising both at the same time, perhaps even using them together whenever possible.

Einstein told us that imagination is the key to science and understanding the Universe, even if he did use the other side of his brain quite regularly coming up with intense mathematical equations to prove his theories. Amazing how much he got right considering how little they knew about the reality of particle physics and the Universe back then isn't it.

So, if you do not use the creative, intuitive, innovative, and imaginative side of your brain enough due to all your years of being taught what to think, how to think and memorizing what you've been told, does this mean you lose that ability? Well, yes and no, I mean there is a whole lot to be said for the "use it, or lose it" theory of the brain, and much of that has been proven by clinical research.

Does this mean that higher education is bad for your creative minds health? Actually it does, and that's kind of a scary thing, but it doesn't have to be if you don't want to.

In other words, you can prevent that from happening by using your creative mind each and every day, early and often. Please think on this, it's so very important.
